M.I.E. Enterprises offers corrosion resistant FRP cartridge filter housings for final polishing filtration. In most RO plants, the feed is acidified before the cartridge filter. SS or MSRL filters are required to prevent corrosion. Invariably when HCl is used, corrosion sets in even in stainless steel. But in the case of FRP, there is no chance of corrosion. 20 years of experience in using FRP in cartridge filters has enabled us to perfect the design for ease in operation and minimal space consumption per unit cartridge. Micron Cartridge Filters There are two standard sizes available: 400 mm dia to house maximum 7 nos. 70 mm dia X 20 inch length. 600 mm dia to house maximum 19 nos. 70 mm dia X 20 inch length. 600 mm dia to house maximum 31 nos. 70 mm dia X 40 inch length. Flanged / threaded inlet and outlet connections are available with or without valves. Vertical and cylindrical vessel with dished top and bottom. 4 supporting FRP legs with facility for bolting to a skid. PVC cartridge holding assembly- assembly can be made to suit different types of cartridges. FRP end plates Nitrile ‘O’ Rings Cartridges can be provided if required.
